A double accolade: SCHELL is the global leader for water management systems and angle valves
For the second time running, SCHELL has been honoured as a global leader by the South Westphalian Chamber of Industry and Commerce (SIHK). Following the recognition of its market leadership in angle valves in 2018, SCHELL has now received a double accolade: as a global leader in water management systems and angle valves. Andrea Bußmann, SCHELL’s Director of Marketing, Sales and Product Management, accepted the official certificate at the ‘Meeting of Global Leaders in South Westphalia’ event hosted by Mona Neubaur, Minister for Economic Affairs, Industry, Climate Action and Energy of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia.
A well-deserved place at the top
Launched on the market in 2016, SWS has already been installed on a wide variety of (semi-)public and commercial premises, and has since been operating reliably, giving building owners support for maintaining drinking water quality with automated stagnation flushes. SWS is also the first water management system to offer flexible configuration as a wireless and/or wired network, making it suitable both for new developments and retrofits to existing properties. Another advantage: when equipped with temperature sensors, SWS can execute stagnation flushes based on temperature readings in addition to its stagnation flush schedule. “Mature solutions earn their reputation by continuing to innovate – just as with our SWS solution,” says Bußmann in conclusion.
