Close the handle:
Turn the key clockwise and press the handle down to stop water being drawn off. To remove the key, simply turn the key back into its original position. This locks the fitting in the closed position.
Open the handle:
Turning the key clockwise with the handle in the closed position releases a spring that pushes the handle back up. Water can again be drawn off the fitting. After turning the key back into its original position, the key can then be removed.
A practical feature: a green ring becomes visible at the bottom end of the handle when it is open.
