Plus X Award: MODUS fittings with anti-scalding protection are the value-for-money winners

The award-winning shower fitting is ideal for use by children and people unable to respond quickly to dangerous situations. In normal use, the water temperature can be adjusted up to 38 °C, with a further increase to a maximum of 43 °C also possible by pressing a button to release the temperature lock. Even if the cold water line fails or pressure fluctuations occur in the system, the water never gets hotter than 43 °C – this is how the ThermoProtect feature provides optimum anti-scalding protection and also prevents accidental falls caused by reactions to excessive temperatures. The fitting also features the IsoBody technology that ensures the thermally insulated housing is always roughly the same as ambient temperature. With its timeless design, the new MODUS shower thermostat offers a premium haptic appeal and a well thought-out approach to its controls and markings. Operation is both intuitive and straightforward. A matching shower kit or hand shower can also be ordered. The MODUS EH-T wash basin tap, featuring a loop handle that is especially easy to use, is also equipped with a ThermoProtect cartridge, offering optimum anti-scalding protection in the event of pressure fluctuations or a failure of the cold water line. Both products can form part of an accessible fit-out for sanitary facilities on public and semi-public premises.
